Born and brought up in a remote village located in the beautiful ‘ Western Ghats’ region of Karnataka State in India, nature is always very close to my heart. Having deep appreciation for nature, I use photography as a medium to express my visualization of nature. All the images you see in my gallery are the composition of nature elements. I capture various types of nature images including grand landscape, intimate landscape, flowers, and wildlife. I always strive to get the best possible lighting and most compelling compositions for the images I capture. I believe in “Simple is strong”, and simplify my compositions to only essential elements.
I started exploring digital photography since 2005 and for the last 10 years I have experienced enormous joy in capturing this incredible nature that we are all part of. I capture unique moments in nature so that I can share it with others who were not present at the time of the nature show. I remember famous quote by John Ruskin who said “Sunshine is delicious, rain is refreshing, wind braces us up, snow is exhilarating; there is really no such thing as bad weather, only different kinds of good weather”. This quote perfectly applies to nature photography. Artist in me always has something interesting to create in spite of challenging weather conditions. I travel to beautiful places to capture nature images and images in and around my abode. The images I capture always feed my heart and soul and now I am even more excited as I am able to reach others and touch their mind and soul through my images.
